A 14-gauge knit \u2014 our most common density \u2014 offers a sculptural, structured drape. The stitches are visible but tight, creating a fabric that holds its shape while moving fluidly with the body. An 18-gauge knit, by contrast, is airy and ethereal \u2014 a whisper of fabric more than a garment \u2014 ideal for layering or warm-weather wear.<\/p>\n<p>The fibre micron count is equally decisive. Our Mongolian cashmere, at 14.5\u201316 microns, produces a fabric with inherent body \u2014 it drapes like a liquid but holds its architectural integrity.
